What years did Star Trek the next generation run from. All I remember in my youth is watching this one over my grandparents when nothing was on..on the weekends. It was one of those when theirs nothing else on TV shows to watch. I loved the NEXT GENERATION this shit brings back memories. I miss my youth. Once time is gone you can never get it back.

i dunno why but me n my sis used to watch this when we were like 6 with our dad. and when it was the inro wed crouched down in front of the tv, like hunched over on our knees. everytime the ship went whoosh past the screen we wuld leap up then do it again..every intro no fkin idea why, now i look back on it now im nearly 18 i was a wierd nutter then

Who honestly cares about which is better? Enjoy them both for what they offer, but for the love of god stop wasting your time comparing them.

Why compare? Star Trek TNG and Star Trek TOS are both absolutely amazing. I don't see why it's necessary to compare one with the other, when you can love and enjoy both.

@ROSE911GUNDAM Thanks, & I agree w/ u about Data. My only complaint about the series is they didn't get Worf's character right. He'd get whipped in most fights, they should've had him dominate, like the Terminator. Also, he's written like a hothead, & it's not very attractive. Yeah, Klingons are hotheads, but Worf should've been cooler. It wasn't Dorn's fault at all. His acting is fine, it's the scripts he was given. The same was true for Tasha Yar. Other than that, TNG is perfect fun.

damn right! :) i agree with you, he has that authority in his voice that commands respect in addition to Piccard, Data is also an interesting character and funny too at times when he try so hard to be human :)

Piccard is my fave starship captain. Honorable, cool & competant but w/ enough quirks to keep him interesting. And when pushed, he kicks butt w/ the best of them. Plus, you can't beat his don't mess w/ me voice.
