I am a Star Trek fan (mainly TNG) and I LOVE the Enterprise theme! The lyrics are positive, inspirational and uplifting. If people don't like it I wonder whether they actually listen and underatand the text. And chosing a song with lyrics was a bit of a fresh breeze into the Star Trek universe. Maybe some old-fashioned people don't like that but I don't care.

Are you kidding?? This song connects today with the ST universe by advocating positive attitudes and confidence in man and His quest for the stars. Now if Rod Stewart had been singing it still I would've agreed with you lol.

Im absolutely SHOCKED by the positive comments to this theme song Ive always found this theme VERY MUCH out of place with the whole star trek thing. Not even a show on Lifetime channel would have such a sappy song. BLAH This song does not say "STAR TREK' to me. It says Doctor Quinn Medicine woman.. or maybe Touched by an Angel lol BUT NOT STAR TREK WTF??!?

In my humble opinion, Enterprise was misunderstood, and, if it had been renewed for a fifth season, could have been great.
