I think you seriously underestimate the antimatter's power.

It would have to take precise aim and prediction of movement for a ISD to even hit it. It's not like the Federation ships are going to stay stationary during a full scale battle. They have high maneuverability.

"12 to 24 inches thick" The Armour is actually around 2-3 meters thick on ISDs, bridge armour is thinner but they have their own dedicated shields beneath the main ones. "if there are no shields" except there are, and you aren't weaseling your way around them, not even for the sake of argument.

@SMeXyBetaZeL a photon torpedo usually loaded with 1.5 kg matter and 1.5 antimatar, when the torpedo is hitt something the matter and antimatter is interflow and its make a huge blow! 1.5 kg antimatter means 20-25 times bigger explosion like a nuclear bomb. and if antimatter hits a shield by himself its make a huge energy reales to. so i don't understand your problem :D

The "bubble" is just one part of the shields. there's multiple layers and then a forcefield protecting the dish which beyond that is an integrity field. And then the dish would have to be off in order to get anywhere near it otherwise who ever if floating or walking near it will die by being crushed even before the radiation kills them.

Alll the firepower yields I cite for Turbolasers and imperial ships are indeed per second unless noted otherwise, this does not mean that they always fire 1 shot per second however, just a time averaged level of firepower. Imperials use the main shields for protection from navigational hazards as well as weapons fire, even in Trek only the federation use Deflector Dishes. The Deflector dish is a huge weakness, Picard himself stated that you can cripple a ship with a HAND WEAPON if you shoot the dish while it's charged. Hilarious image of a Stormtrooper with a Jetpack blowing up the Enterprise by shooting it in the dish with an E-11 after getting inside the shield bubble. Trek only has itself to blame really.

Well I don't know much about red matter, but there is also "Weird Matter". Only 1 atom of that will effect any matter it touches and it won't stop until the whole mass is reduced to one mass of weird matter.

The Turrets (wtf is it with you and calling them Torrents, though they do have a tendency to create a Torrential hail of fire.) aren't vital at all, if one is destroyed they simply don't have it anymore, if it's damaged they shut it down. either way they will just redirect power into another turret.

oh wow, as always you aren't making any sense and you don't even realize it, A pound of antimatter CANNOT react with a ton of matter, it's physically impossible, a Pound of antimatter can, at MOST react with a pound of matter because they ANNIHILATE one another once the pound of matter is gone so is the antimatter, core breaches cause an explosion because the matter/antimatter reaction goes out of control, releasing more energy than the core, or the rest of the ship, can handle.

Where is the ISD deflector located at? Surely not inside the armor. The torrents are also vital since they can always back fire.

Most of the vital areas are under thousands of tons of armor. It would take more quantorps then a single federation starship can carry to even get through a meter of it. The total weight of a star destroyer is around 25 million metric tons anyway.

And here's another complete fiction weapon. The Red Matter. It looks like 1 drop would take out a whole planet. Where's the pound for pound in that?

The bridge is not a to vital area. The cannons will still fire at maximum. You would have to reach the core to shut the ISD down, but that i can guarantee would take most of the entire star fleet's quantum torpedo supply to even reach. Its probably hundred of thousands of tons of metal in the way so it would take a long time.

but the whole torpedo itself is made out of matter.
